Christmas Day 2009, Gunnerside Gill
‘On Christmas Day 2009, I took a walk up one of my favourite places in the Yorkshire Dales: Gunnerside Gill. I saw not a single person during the entire walk. On the way back down the valley I stopped and sat in the snow for about half an hour, waiting for the light for this shot. Afterwards, I walked back down to Gunnerside in the dark, under the moon.
